Rational Rose (UML)
Rational Rose (UML) is a standardized general-purpose modeling language used to propose, visualize and document the components of an object oriented software system. The open standard is developed by the Object Management Group (OMG) and has several mature toolkits from proprietary and open source providers. Generators exist for most languages that convert UML projects into a framework ready for business logic. As the conversion from UML to source code framework is one directional, the step does not work well for agile development.
