Overview

3D Medical Imaging Analysis (MIA-3D) is a HL7 (Health Level 7) compliant medical software developed by Startech Global. It is widely used by hospitals and clinics to analyze medical images for non-intrusive diagnosis. MIA-3D reconstructs 3D image for a vivid illustration of a patient's organs, bones, etc.

Demo

MIA-3D connects directly to medical imaging machines such as

  • CT (Computed Tomography)
  • MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
  • PET (Positron Emission Tomography)
  • Ultrasound, etc.

It can also be integrated into PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) to acquire imaging from other machines or PACS servers.

Specifications

MIA-3D is DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) standard compliant. It is written in Microsoft C++ with Visualization Toolkit. A Java version with remote access is currently in the development.
