After long periods of staring at the computer, looking at spreadsheets, attending meetings, not to mention developing new ways of helping the environment with technology, we decided it would be a good idea to take a first hand look at nature and the environment itself.
Last week, the Startech China team had a relaxing and enjoyable excursion to the beautiful Huanghuacheng Lakeside Great Wall Reserve. The Reserve is well-known for its majestic mountain ranges, the serene lake and the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Its breathtaking “Three Uniqueness” scenery has certainly impressed the Startech Team. Let me see if I can remember the historic and famous “uniqueness’s”:
“First Uniqueness”: A section of the Great Wall built during the YongLe era of the Ming Dynasty as well as the snakes around the mountain ranges. It’s proximity to he Haoming Lake offers a beautiful view and experience.
“Second Uniqueness”: Two sections of the Great Wall naturally break off at the lake; The merging of the lake and the wall is a breathtaking sight.
“Third Uniqueness”: Chestnut Garden from Ming Dynasty. The historic trees and shapes of the roots are quite memorable.

A great team building and bonding trip overall. We can now go back to doing what we do best, building great technology! =)
